Applied Social Psychology (ASoP) Lab

Applied Social Psychology (ASoP) lab aims to collaborate researchers and students who are interested in diverse applied-social topics such as traffic and transportation, health, sport, environment, organizational and other applied settings. Our aim is to contribute public health, public safety, equality for everyone and sustainable environment. Study approaches consist on both experimental and quantitative survey methods.

How to Apply

Scholars

Graduate students:
• The minimum GPA should be 3.2/4
• Fluency in English (writing & reading)
• Aptitude to research methods and statistics
• Students must allocate 4 hours per week
• Scientific curiosity, responsibility, good communication skills are essential qualities in candidates.

Undergraduate students:
• Students must be 3rd or 4th year
• The minimum GPA should be 2.5/4
• Fluency in English (writing & reading)
• Aptitude to research methods and statistics
• Students must allocate 4 hours per week
• Scientific curiosity, responsibility, good communication skills are essential qualities in candidates.

Students can either join an announced study or develop their own research ideas. In order to participate ongoing research, your current CV and a letter of intention are required. If you have your own research idea, please provide a research proposal right along with current CV and the letter of intention.

Research Proposals will be evaluated in terms of the following criterion:
• Abstract – 5p.
• Introduction- 20 p.
• Aim – 5 p.
• Sample – 10 p
• Measurement – 10 p
• Procedure – 10 p.
• Expected results- 15 p.
• References- 10 p.
• Appendix (questionnaires, forms etc., if any)- 5 p.
• APA- 5 p.
• Originality & Idea – 5 p
